Job Description
- Build, manage, and nurture relationships with Energy Storage customers, identify target segments, secure meetings with key decision-makers, and create strategic sales plans to drive new business acquisition.
- Develop and implement strategies to generate a robust pipeline of qualified business opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to capture customer requirements and assess commercial, timing, and technical feasibility.
- Present product features, technical advantages, and value propositions effectively during customer interactions.
- Create high-quality sales materials that communicate complex technical and market insights while maintaining a professional, consistent, and on-brand appearance.
- Develop creative, sector-specific go-to-market strategies and manage proposal/bid documentation for successful delivery.
- Support the ongoing refinement of pricing strategies across diverse markets, addressing both direct and indirect sales channels.
- Stay informed of the competitive landscape within the Energy Storage market.
- Ensure internal business development tools are up-to-date, contribute to stakeholder reporting, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Job Requirements
- Experience in a commercial or business development role within the Energy Storage sector.
- Strong sales track record, with a history of securing and managing business.
- Proven ability to translate customer needs into actionable requirements for Product and Engineering teams.
- Skilled in developing Go-to-Market and Customer Acquisition strategies.
- Sales experience in a Software/Technology business, especially in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
- Experienced in delivering compelling presentations and creating high-quality, visually appealing documentation.
- Proficient in analyzing financial documents, including commercial sales reports and pricing structures.
- Purpose-driven, motivated to create a positive global impact through innovative products and solutions delivered to customers.
